Title says it all. I have pictures I have taken, mainly scenery, that I have been told could make good posters. Any website or information on how to do so would be greatly appreciated.

There are lots of places that make custom posters, but it sounds like you might want to find somebody who will pay you for your pictures and then make posters of them….that is CONSIDERABLY harder (as in "Good Luck").

If you want to make your own posters and already have a venue for marketing/distributing them, contact any local printer or lithographer or hit the internet and google "custom posters".

If you want to sell your images, google "Stock Images" and you’ll come up with a number of places, like AcclaimImages for instance, that SELL digital images. If they sell them, they might be buying them, too….but you’ll have to contact them to find out.

Is there any website that will let you print out a picture in poster size. because the last website i went to it made me have to download something to be able to do it. Is there i place i can just do it for free and not have to download anything?

I am looking for a certain poster. It has pictures of the world trade center, all have the same view of the buildings, and they were taken from a woman’s apartment window everyday. It’s a sequence of pictures.
She is a photographer, and is selling the poster on her website. I can’t find it anywhere!

It is impossible for me to contact so many movie studies to get permission to show a tiny thumbnail image…

Okay, first off it’s a good thing you actually tried to contact them for permission That’s a good sign in these days of rampant copyright infringement and piracy!

Don’t worry. Make sure to give the film studio due credit for the film, preferably with a link to their site. To maintain the aesthetics of your site, you needn’t put in under every single image, but perhaps after your description/review of the movie e.g. ”Movie poster courtesy 20th Century Fox”.

This means, the poster made in computer using corel draw or any other designing software.

This is a great website. They call the posters "glogs" weird. But you can comment on your other people’s glogs, add pictures to yours, create your profile anyway you want and so much more! There isn’t really a competition, but they put the public ones that they like best on the front page every week! The site will take you through a little but of training on how to make them. Be sure to create a FREE account first!

Website that break up an image and makes it a poster?

I am looking for a website that, when you upload an image, it breaks it up into a grid, and prints out a section of the image on a piece of paper, and then you print out the whole thing and tape it together. It was in a www.Cracked.com article, but i cant find it! Please help! i want to make some posters!

yes, legal. usually will find the terms of the copyright soewhere. usually will specifically allow images and text for promotional use.

It says that "The image file must be at LEAST 2000×3000 pixels in dimension and look good whilst viewed at 100%"
so you could make the picture up and get it printed.

it also says "If your supplied image does not have a ratio of 2:3 I will let you preview a cropped version or discuss alternate printing sizes if suitable so that you are aware of how the final product will look before printing."
so you could always ask if you need help putting it all together.

Is there a website that lets me upload an image and make it into a poster? Like say I have a picture of a penguin, I upload that, and they send me a poster with a penguin on it… is there a good website for that? If so, tell me some of the best prices if you can. Thanks.
