Is there anyway we can file a suit against a website that is offering a promotion that they really are not offering. snapdraft.com, is offering a free 5$ promotion and when you sign up they do not give you the money but its still on there front page. This is False Advertising. is it possible to file a suit?
It is not redeemed for cash but why are they still offering it on there website, when its not available. It is not fair to other competing websites.
You would need to contact the Federal Trade Commission or your state attorney general’s office, and they would file a suit to force them to either be true to their claims, remove the questionable item, and/or pay a fine for the violation.
