10 years in marching bands and I never heard of such a thing. I suggest you go ask your band director next time you see him.

Some nonprofits sell through their own site. If you ever have any questions, go to the OFFICIAL show site, their click through to "buy tickets" will always take you to their official retailer – which 99% of the time is either ticketmaster or telecharge. An official site is always the site that is JUST for the musical or play, not ever any rip off site like broadway.com or broadwaytickets.com.

i would start a youtube account so people would also capture some visual aspects of your performances which would make them want to check you guys out.
my friends’ bands use PureVolume, although i’m not sure if it’s free to put up songs. everything else like band sign up is, however.
you might also wanna try myspace, even if it is a little outdated.

Is it legal to download music videos from a bands website and upload it to youtube? And still give credit to the author? Please help….
If the band allows it, it is legal,
if they don’t say so, it is not legal.
it is the bands music, they are the only ones that can upload it anywhere, including utube.
giving them "credit" means nothing,
they, or the writers, own all the copyrights to the music.

You can’t. You can only get classic version which is alpha (not very good). The only way is to get a cracked version. Just google it although i dont reccomend it…

Making a website for my band, and I have absolutely no idea what I’m supposed to put on it! I know I will include a biography and a contact page, and one for news updates and gigs, but what do I do with my homepage? And what else can I add?
Any and all answers are appreciated, though if you have some experience making your own band website, it would be all the more helpful.
A tour page (but i guess you’re probably not at this point of your career and you’ll probably just put your show date on the updates…), if you have a CD or more than one, you need a page for it…You can also put picture of the band, your shows, a little presentation of all of the band members (can be funny like, you can say some shit like where are you born and all, your inspiration, but also your favorite drink, your best halloween costume and some shit who people probably don’t care), maybe you can do a page who explain the signification of some of your songs with some lyrics.
