@Recon82ABN its not worth to argue with pudransemarikas he’s just an idiot and if he’s really from spain he have nothing to talk about wwII. I am from malta its the most bombed country in wwII. And we still didn’t fall into german’s hands. But i still respect germany as they have the courage to fight till death

  4. @ …
@pudransemarikas-hold on there, Russians did not attack Germans. Hitler your loser of a leader screwed up all the military tactics because he did not listen to his Generals. The thousand year Reich lasted how long? I am half Anglo-German my friend. You do not have to use vulgar language to debate the subject. It lowers your character more..

  5. @pudransemarikas – …

without a doubt the eastern front was the most brutal and fiercest combat ever seen on any war.

  11. the us didn’t need …
the us didn’t need the atom bomb.

  12. today most of the …
today most of the people know about ww2 only from us-movies.
some folks are watching “band of brothers” etc. and thinking that this is how ww2 was.
but the hardest part of ww2 was the meeting of germany and soviet-union on the battlefield.
it can also be seen in the casualities.
the time when the us entered the place, germany was already very weak.
us-army always had much more planes, tanks, guns, fuel and material.
they never fought against an prepared german army.
    (maybe except hürtgenwald).

  14. peksyjavi-in 1934 …
peksyjavi-in 1934 when Hitler became Fuhrer he had Army and Industrialists to start creating the war machine. That’s five years before invasion of Poland which Hitler wrote the blueprint in Mien Kampf. Jewish physicists fled Germany to US before Hitler could use them. US started work in Oct. 1941 with help of Prof. Albert
Einstein. A-bomb was dropped on Japan 3 months after German surrender. US was ready to use a bomb on Germany before surrender. Hitler built war machine since 1934.

  15. @Recon82ABN Axis …
    @Recon82ABN Axis belligerents, co-belligerents and non-belligerents = 11
Allied belligerents, co-belligerents and non-belligerents = 21…when usa entered it entered with more fresh men agains some wounded men that were less in millions

  16. @Recon82ABN dude me …
@Recon82ABN dude me and my friend are in a british school, of course we’re on the US and british side but me and my friend think german army was more prepared and trained just as the british nad us but a little more because as you say german uniforms were made for parades and the Allies had a major number of soldiers without the help of the german scientists the atomic bomb wouldn’t existed in the allied side.

  17. Without America’s …
Without America’s help Germany would have won WWII. I see your bitterness to the US 101, 82nd and Brit paras. Their selfless devotion to duty, honor, country brought freedom to millions.

  18. @Recon82ABN we …
@Recon82ABN we don’t know much about WW2 soo we look like retarded

  19. @Recon82ABN sorry …
@Recon82ABN sorry my stupid friend signed in and commented…haha im totally agree with you

  20. peksyjavi-WWII …
peksyjavi-WWII paratrooper Clarence Ollom who charged the German soldiers machine gun nest 5 days after D Day; 3 holes littered the folds of his uniform where bullets had gone through without hitting him. 82nd Airborne did not show up wearing parade uniforms for battle. It came to get the job done like a professional sports team. Devils in Baggy Pants. If he had the spit polish Fallschimjager uniform the bullet holes may just have gone to the body.

  21. peksyjavi-US …
peksyjavi-US paratroopers carried an average of 70 lbs. of equipment. The M1C US paratrooper helments had airborne cloth chin straps different from Infantry models in that they were fitted with a short tab that snapped inside the M-1 paratrooper helment liner. Why did the Germans call American Airborne “Devils in Baggy Pants.’ German Uniforms were for designed for parades. A 82nd paratrooper charged a German machine gun nest 5 days after D Day; shooting 3 German soldiers with his M-1 rifle.

  22. peksyjavi-82nd …
peksyjavi-82nd Airborne jumped D Day in to Normandy seized key village of St Mere Eglise. What followed was the 3 day battle for the bridgeover Merederat River. Had the Germans seized the bridge their tanks and troops could have route to Utah Beach. Instead a ragtag assembly of badly dropped paratroopers banded together and held the bridge. German tank attack was stopped by 4 privates with bazookas. A sergeant took command of a machine gun from the front to drive off German Infantry.

  23. @Recon82ABN Also …
@Recon82ABN Also germans tried to get USA in their side saying they had a lot in common and they will have a lot of power over the world. Japanese ruined it when they attacked Pearl Harbour. Oh, another thing, if you see one german soldier and a american one you will see the difference with their tight helmet and they have to be all disciplined and well-organized while most of the american soldiers had the unbuttoned helmets and I agree with the uniforms, german uniforms were much better.

  24. @Recon82ABN No, …
@Recon82ABN No, germans had worst equipment but it looked like they had a better one because they were more trained and ready. An example that shows that Allied equipment were better is the semi-automatic rifle vs the bolt-action german rifle. Another fact which germans got ”their kicked” was because americans joined the war when the german army had a huge lost on their army and equipment.

  25. Fallschirmjager …
Fallschirmjager sufferered such heavy losses at Battle of Crete (25%) Hitler lost faith in parachute assault. Hitler was so shocked at the thousands dead, and wounded paratroopers at Crete; Hitler the genius sent them to Russia to fight as elite ground forces. You know the results.
