I think you are asking the question backwards. To make a pictures poster sized you need to start with the right image depth and size (pixels and dimensions), that is if you are talking about photos.

Websites have nothing to do with this process. It’s software and scanning processes. You’ll need to learn about your digital camera, or learn how to work with various graphics programs to build your image to the right size for digital output for printing.
