Maybe the best …
Maybe the best defense available right now is for all of us to go on Facebook and everywhere else and be as weird as possible, just to screw up all the behavioral targeting software.

Ideally, of course, a better defense would be requiring all companies that collect such data to fully disclose what they are doing, to delete inaccurate or misleading data, and to put other protections in place.

Between Google Maps …
Between Google Maps on my mobile phone, Gmail, Google AdSense, Google search & YouTube, Google knows everything about me – who I know, the places I go, my politics, what I do & when I do it, what I’m apt to do.

It’s a good thing I’m not on the lam because, between the cameras on the traffic lights & Google, I’d be screwed.

Of course, I chose to use Google, didn’t I?

Government is the body which regulates such practice.
It is precisely what people like Ron Paul say corps should be able to do without even putting up a question. stopping such things is called regulation.
force corps to put up warnings.
It is not a corp ‘right’ to hack us.
That is why nasty corps hate Govt.
consider you are being used by far right and the nastiest corps, they lie mike.

They know where we are all the time just about, let’s be honest…..they can do pretty much whatever they want now….government is one of the most dangerous things humanity can experience….worse than hurricanes, worse than floods, worse than starvation alone, it is a deadly mixture of inefficiencies and special interest groups that are bent on collecting “their” money from the government or some form of corporate protectionism….it’s all true, and sad….
