how much money can you make from a website through advertising on yor site?

thinking of doing a website taht will email reminders to others I am debating wether or not there will be charge for this service other similar services do not charge they must rely on advertising on thier sites

Receiving advertising dollars online is actually harder than it looks. Depends on how much you are expecting from your site….your site should garner at least 25,000+ unique visitors per month to establish your site as a legit advertising source. Your site could also be picked up by Yahoo or Google to be included in their network to share advertising dollars

each advertiser has their own formula for how they pay. the larger the traffic generally the more money you’ll make. what i’ve found through my research is an average site that gets around 20,000 visitors per day can make about 100 bucks, this is however a theory. i’m not exactly sure if that’s unique visitors or return visitors. i know a great resource that can help you get started.
