only in America is healthcare a leftist cause. It’s actually supported by right wingers in the rest of the world, maybe with the exception of their versions of Strom or Rush or Hitler.

you lazy ignorant radical leftist bastards! Get a job and pay for your own healthcare like the rest of working class America! This government has bankrupt social security, medicare, and has had to print off billions of dollars in the last few months for the out of control spending that our socialist piece of so called “president” has done! Do you really think the government could properly run a health care reforum? THIS WILL BANKRUPT OUR ENTIRE NATION!!!!!!

    Substitute “I …
Substitute “I object” with “obselete” and you have the perfect response of the republican party. When will the American People realize that “one side of the aisle” is populated by nothing but terrorist criminals out to destroy this country? AND they’re plotting another election theft as we debate their fate!!

  12. Oh no, it’s not the …
Oh no, it’s not the wealth that makes them evil. No no no, there’s plenty of good people among the wealthy, I’m sure. The problem I have is when they use that wealth to exert political power to the detriment of everyone.

And really now, would you consider what the highest paid people in the country do to be ‘work’? Exxon Mobil’s CEO makes more in one minute than most people do in a month, and quite frankly I don’t think there’s anything someone could do to deserve that kind of payment.

  13. maybe we should …
maybe we should just kick all the evil rich people out of the country.

The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. -Thomas Jefferson

    I object! That was… objectionable!

  16. Government can work …
Government can work to better society, however ever since the conservative resurgence in American politics, it has been steadily broken to serve the wealthy and not the many. And when the many complain that they don’t see their tax dollars going to work, the Republicans cite their own misrule as evidence that government cannot work.

Government can work, and it did after the Great Depression, it just needs to be safe guarded from those who seek to sabotage it, the conservatives and the wealthy.

  22. pure, unregulated …
pure, unregulated capitalism is as much as fairy tale as the Utopian communism Marx talked about. People are greedy, really greedy. We should have a market system which allows that greed but checks it when its excess harms the market as a whole. Yeah I believe in a market system, but on which is regulated and taxes the out of those making $1,000,000+ because its economic common sense. The more people make the less % of their income they spend. Want spending cut? cut defense!
