open up your prefs …
open up your prefs in text edit and click “ignore rich text commands in html files”
should work, i had same prob.

hi your video is helping me a lot but i have a problem:im using textedit on my mac and im dragging it into safari and it’s showing up just as it looks in textedit rather than a webpage :S
what am i doing wrong?
